Q: Is there any charges for receiving/ sending SMS for Fun on Foot, the e-Challenge (eFOF)?
A: Participants will not be charged for receiving SMS during eFOF. However, outgoing SMSes are subject to prevailing local SMS rates (Singtel/Starhub/M1) if you exceed the free local SMS bundle of your mobile plan.

Q: How many SMS do we need to send during eFOF?
A: If the teams visit all the sites, answer all the questions, and do all the tasks, each team will send out more than 100 SMSes (110-120)

Q: Why do we need to register 2 mobile numbers/ 2 different telcos?
A: Teams can activate their second mobile line, if they face any technical issues using their first mobile number.

Q: How do teams switch to our 2nd mobile line?
A: Once a problem has been identified with the first registered mobile line, teams can request to switch to their second registered mobile line by contacting our technical support team (please see Q5 for details). The team will be contacted via their second registered mobile line to verify their particulars in order to confirm the request of switch.

Q: Who can I contact for technical help (before eFOF / during eFOF)?
A: Please write to events@heritagefest.sg for technical support (before FOF). During the event, please call 6293 6275 or SMS "efofhelp<space>your message" to 73333 for help, e.g. to activate your second registered mobile line.

Q: Can the teams activate a third mobile line?
A: Manually switching to a previously unregistered mobile will take a longer time, and should only happen if both mobile numbers have been verified to be not working. However, please note that there will be no time extensions granted to teams.

Q: What SMS format should we use during eFOF?
A: Please using the following format "efof<space>your reply"
e.g.
- To register your arrival time at a site: SMS "efof ABCDEF" to 73333 (where ABCDE is the unique site code given)
- To SMS your answer to a question: send "efof 1a" to 73333 (where 1a is your answer)
